This longhorn was raised on a local La Porte County farm and hand painted by a local artist. All proceeds raised will go to the Brownie Memorial Fund supporting local veteran's needs.

1st Annual Coed Blind Draw Softball Tournament

A big thank you to Rob and Stephanie Becvar for establishing this annual event. On October 10, 2021, 6 - ten player teams were formed with the registered participants to play in the tournament held at the ball field located at American Legion Post 204 in Three Oaks, MI where Michael J. Brown was a member. The proceeds raised at this event were donated to the Michael J. Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund and Three Oaks Softball League.

2022 Tournament will be held at 8 am CDT on Saturday, October 1st at American Legion Post 204 in Three Oaks, Michigan.

Rob and Stephanie Becvar presented Ruby Reitz and Barry Brown of the Michael J. Brown Memorial Fund with a $1,250 check. The funds were requested to be placed in the annual scholarship fund that is awarded to high school seniors graduating from Michael J. Brown's alma mater, River Valley High School, in Three Oaks, Michigan. Seniors are awarded a scholarship through an application process that is reviewed by the Michael J. Brown Memorial Fund Board.
